“Rain Showers and Cloudy Skies on Monday”
By: Everly Krissa Tejada
Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical,
and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) early on Monday says that
rain showers and cloudy skies are expected in some parts of Luzon and Visayas
due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and northeasterly surface wind
flow.
However, other parts of the country will have fair weather with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, but there is a warning over the seaboards of Batanes, Babuyan Islands, and Ilocos Norte.
According to Chris Perez (PAGASA's
weather specialist), expect to have rough seas in the said areas, so it is not
advisable for the fishermen to go to the sea.
Meanwhile, the eastern and western
seaboards of Southern and Central Luzon will experience moderate to rough sea
conditions, and slight to moderate in the other seas that are not mentioned.
