Science Month 2021 by; Jacqueline Nicole Solo

 In the month of September, the lyceum of Alabang has successfully celebrated the National Science Month with the theme of "Agham, pananaliksik at teknolohiya: kabalikat sa matatag at maunlad na pamayanan".

Under the supervision of the science department, the month of science 2021 has successfully ended. There are three activities that the science department has prepared, and many students enjoy participating in different activities. The culminating activity happened on September 30, 2021, via Facebook Live on the official page of the Lyceum of Alabang. The program starts with the opening remarks of the senior high school principal, Engr. Rodrigo Calapan. It is followed by introducing the judges and the announcement of the winners.

Starting with the Symbo Science edition that happened on May 24, 2021, via zoom, the first place goes to Ms. Arabella Allayon, while the second place goes to Ms. Precious Labasan, Mr. Emmanuel Hernandez, and Mr. Charles Vitto.  

The next activity is the poster making contest. With an average percentage of 92.6%, Ms. Kryztyn Tambis won first place. The second place goes to Ms. Aliyah Margarette Imbat, with an average score of 90%. Finally, Mr. Juhllian David Viray also won third place with an average percentage of 88%. 

In the video making contest, first place goes to Ms. Pauline Tabamo, with an average score of 86%. The second place goes to Mr. Jhavy Duane Guerrero with an average score of 83%. Lastly, Ms. Edtessa De Vera, won third place with an average score of 82%.

 Ms. Frencee Rivera, the head of the science department, closed her remarks by saying that she was very thankful to those who gave time and effort to make the science month celebration successful.
