LITERARY: "Yours" by Samantha Apalit

You drive me into madness.
Your name lingers on my lips,
Like the sweetness of red wine.

You have me drunk on your words,
You have me drowning in your eyes,
Your face burns in the back of my mind.

You've stripped me bare of my senses.
All my bones ache for your touch,
And leave me restless for your return.

Delicate hands and calloused fingers,
You are beauty and chaos in its rawest form;
A sin in the form of a prayer.
Know this:
I am yours.

Just as Achilles has Patroclus,
Just as the sun has the moon—
I am yours.

Wrap me in the ardency of your love,
Leave me daunting,
And I'll let you.

Break my heart and shatter it to pieces,
Ruin me,
And I'll let you.

I am only yours to love, anyway.
I am only yours to break, anyway.
