I bet you’ve heard about the term “misogyny." And if you haven’t, misogyny in simple words are hatred, stereotypes, and prejudice against women and their capabilities. It is something that is present for as long as 3100 B.C. Because of these prejudices, other people suggest that men are more qualified than women to lead the people. But now that we’ve been under men leaders for quite some time, why don’t we try and let women lead?

Nowadays, we can see more and more women thriving for a better world. During these times, seeing feminists and women in power is slowly getting normal for other people, but that doesn’t mean that this patriarchal system we live in is absolutely abolished. How do we know that sexism is still present nowadays? Take the internet for example. We can see men getting praised for doing nothing but the bare minimum when it comes to women, they get called names and are underestimated. It seems that they need to double their efforts in order to be seen and recognized by people. It’s crazy, right?

So, why can’t women lead? I mean, we have been under a system built by men leaders for a long time but we aren’t anywhere near achieving change. Let women make a stance and lay out their plans for the people they want to lead. Don’t let their gender be a hindrance to what they can actually do for the people. Who knows? They might be even better leaders than the men calling the shots.

Let women lead. They can be more than prepared for the role they want to take. Women are still people and as people, they are free to contribute to a better world if they want to. Women not having male attributes should NEVER be a reason for women to be perceived as a person incapable of pushing through with their ideas and strategies.
