Classification: Poetry

Theme: Love and Contradiction

Synopsis: Sadness was symbolized by the color blue. In its depth, though, souls could fall in love.

We were dancing under the blue sky,

Couldn't feel the warmth of ray and dry,

Exhorted you to see it through;

Everything was blue because of you.

I held the hand of yours tightly,

Led you to dance with me harmoniously,

Everything became bluer—

It was the bluest thing I had ever felt.

Myths told us blue was sadness;

Veraciously, it was love and fearless,

Blue was found in the sky—

Like love was found in you.

I reached closer to your face,

Took the inches of distance and slowed down the pace,

Love may be red and true,

But for the two of us—everything got so blue.
