Joey Concepcion, the President's adviser for entrepreneurship, indicated that 27 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines would expire in July. As a result, President Rodrigo Duterte proposed a house-to-house distribution of the COVID-19 vaccination, particularly for those living in the countryside.

President Duterte stated that the vaccines are there and ready to be utilized but if a good number of Filipinos still refuse to get vaccinated, they can’t do anything about it and the only thing they can do is conduct a program where vaccines are delivered from house to house on farms.

Also, he asked the New People’s Army to not harm healthcare workers that would go into far-flung areas to conduct the house-to-house vaccination program.
