Disney gave fans a magical sight of the deep sea in its teaser trailer posted on Walt Disney Studio YouTube channel, showing its breathtaking visuals.

Singer and Actress Halle Bailey, playing young mermaid Ariel, was also heard singing a heartfelt rendition of the song “Part of Your World.”

The Disney animated film was originally published in 1989, the story of the young mermaid Ariel who longed for a journey above the sea, while she visited the surface, the young mermaid fell in forbidden love with Prince Eric, which prompted her to make a deal with the sea witch Ursula to experience adventure beyond the deep sea, but placed her life in danger.

The film will feature Daveed Diggs as the voice of Sebastian, Jacob Tremblay as the voice of Flounder, rapper and actress Awkwafina as the voice of Scuttle, Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric, Art Malik as Sir Grumsby, Noma Dumezweni as Queen Selina, Javier Bardem as King Triton, and Melissa McCarthy as Ursula.

The film was directed by Oscar Nominee Rob Marshall and will be released exclusively in theaters in 2023.
