I am not a perfect student. I constantly make mistakes and wrong judgement. I am not good in math nor in science and have committed countless offenses in school premises. But I still strive to become a better student.
I am not a perfect friend. I have stabbed my friends in the back several times just to improve my name and integrity. Doubt has always played a major part in my friendships. Yet, I still love them and don’t want to lose them.
I am not a perfect child. I disobeyed my parent’s rules and disrespected them several times. I have cursed in my mother’s name when I am mad of something. But I do not mean any of it.
I am not a perfect person. In a daily basis I commit mistakes and it is through mistakes I learned many important things and values in life. Without these flaws I am not a human. It is the fundamental characteristics of a mortal being.
We are not perfect. Everybody deserves a second chance, to correct his/her mistakes, to acknowledge his flaws and work to improve his personality. If we cannot find a place in our heart to forgive someone who wronged us… then we also cannot forgive ourselves.
