On Tuesday, October 25, 2022, the week-long celebration of Lyceum of Alabang's 19th anniversary continued as the senior high school representatives per strand competed for the declamation contest at the Audio Visual Room (AVR) using the piece titled "I Killed Her".
The Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) representative stood out and became the champion of the competition, with a 95.33 average score, followed by Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) with a 92.33 average score. The General Academic (GAS) strand made it to the cut as they won the second runner-up with an average score of 89 percent.
The competition was led by Ms. Eloisa R. Casas, and the panel of judges consisted of Mr. Ramiro N. Madula, Ms. Catalina B. Escobido, and Ms. Luchi Sereneo. The respected judges determined the winner by the stated criteria: mastery and fluency were 30%, interpretation 25%, voice projection 20%, facial expression 15%, and overall impact 10%, for a total of 100%.
