𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗦 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦: "NU Pep Squad get back their crown as they win championship title in 86th Season of UAAP Cheer dance Competition" by Nash Millares

The Jhocson base squad rise from the ground to reclaim the champion title, as they dethroned the Sampaloc base squad / Feu Cheering Squad with their Zumba aerobic routine. 

The Feu Cheering Squad placed as 1st-runner up with the theme of Francis Magalona, and the UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe climbs back as they win the 2nd-runner up with their Lady Gaga routine. UST placed 4th place last season 85, and the former 1st-runner for last year, Adamson Pep Squad, steps down as they disappear in the podium in this year's UAAP CDC.

The UAAP Cheer dance Competition is the biggest cheer dance competition in the country. It started during 1994 as an annual event where 8 UAAP schools compete with their best Cheer and Dance routine. In terms of Championship table, UP Pep Squad takes the lead with their 20 podium finished, UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe with 18 podiums finished and NU Pep Squad with 9 podiums.
