Theme: Naivety

Today, I walked;

I walked to ease my troubled mind—

I walked to find new sources for rhymes,

But, alas, my eyes are no longer that of a hawk.

I walked, but I could not see—

None of the things were interesting to me;

Maybe what I was carrying was just too heavy...

Or maybe it was the glasses that I put on lately.

Glasses that I think every man should wear.

For, perhaps, I did see something:

A man telling his woman to get off his hair.

...can that even be considered as loving?

If not, then what is the point of being a lover?

Is it not happiness that one seeks to achieve?

If having rose-tinted glasses makes me naive;

Then I'll embrace such naivety with pleasure.
