MANILA, Philippines— After a year since Space Exploration Technologies Corporation (SpaceX) registered its business in the country, Elon Musk's company announced on Wednesday, February 22, that its Starlink internet service is now available in the country.
Philippines is the first country in Southeast Asia to use Starlink's services. However, despite the company's announcement of its availability in the country, the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) has not yet released an official statement regarding the Starlink internet services.
Filipinos can subscribe for it by paying P2,700 a month plus a total hardware service fee of P29,320.
