Theme: Meeting Someone New
As I walked through the crowded hallway
Reticent and feeling blue, I saw you—
A ray of light, a glimmer, new with a
Radiant smile that had eyes in dew.
In a world where people love how you love them,
Long and seek validation, like it's a gem—
In hopes to feel something different,
we knock and hope for a love that's effervescent.
Every time our eyes met, it felt like an eternity,
Yet I don't mind adoring you, your smile, and your divinity.
Oh, how long will it take to muster up the courage—
Until I could hopefully, and finally text you a message.
