Research has played a great part in a Senior High School student's academic life. It is critical in a society as it expands the body of knowledge through systematic investigation and studying. Through research, discoveries have been made and topics have been explored. Although, is it really beneficial for a student to conduct one?

Practical Research 1, Practical Research 2, and Research Project—these are just three of the many subjects currently in senior high school that tackle research. Teachers taught students in order for them to learn what research really is and its importance to the community. They guide them in the process of conducting their study. Be it a qualitative or quantitative type of research.

In a student's viewpoint, conducting research in the process can be too hard and stress inducing. It is for the reason that research is done through division of groups in a classroom setting. Sometimes, not everyone in the group has given their best participation. More often, the leaders had to do more work—and oftentimes all the research itself whenever their groupmate did not participate, which produced stress for the students themselves.

Even though it can be a form of conflict and stress. Research is one great way to bond between people. It links individuals, especially its group members, to each other and gives them a chance to form a relationship of friendship. Through respect, active participation, and mutual support between one another, research can be a nice way to meet new people.

Research in the process is very difficult to make. But, despite the 'stress' that research causes, it is STILL a vital part of every student's life. No matter how hard it is, it will still benefit us in the long run. Senior High School is just a starting phase of us students to adulthood. College is the next level of our lives, where a 'thesis' is being introduced and conducted. Through research in senior high, we would learn how to easily carry out our thesis because we've already been introduced.

Thus, with the knowledge that we had in doing research, it can aid us in easily partaking in the process of accomplishing a thesis.

Now, for some, they would think that "research" and "thesis'' are the same. True, they are both academic pieces of writing. However, there is a big difference between those two. Yet despite their differences, our knowledge that we have gathered and learned from our senior high school year would still be a great help in our college life.

In a world full of curiosity and different ideologies, a certain body of knowledge arises. All because of every great researcher. The perseverance and the will. The capacity to achieve a certain goal. Truly, to all the researchers reading this, please tap all your backs and say, "Good job, self! I am very proud of you'. Being a researcher requires hard work and a sheer will of determination. A study contains 5 chapters, but those five chapters are all built full of hardships and sacrifices; by people willing to learn, to thrive, and to expand their knowledge.

Research in the process; at the beginning, it will be hard, I know. But at the end, when we can all see our own hard work, it will all be worth it. As our eyes land on our name in that hardbound paper. We can happily say that we really gave our blood, sweat, and tears for this. The process is hard and is full of difficulties. But remember, every fruit of labor always tastes very delicious.
