Theme: Elegy

The gaze of the moonlight reflects on the ground,

Showing to the sky its lune,

As the grass field blows away the windy tune,

Making me fall into the cold breeze—

Hardly standing with my weakened knees.

The frigid air swirls around me—

Forming a scarf that engulfs my eye,

Blinding me to all the lights that enter my wits,

Starting to trounce my middle beats;

‘Tis your tattooed words that can defeat.

One step forward and two more up,

To you, I am near— to me, you are far;

Gashes and cracks are creating a path,

Driving my pair of feet to split up,

Pressing them to walk and remember the clouds.
