Summer vibe is just around the corner with Philippine Pop Group BINI's song "Pantropiko", which recently gained success in Spotify Philippines Viral chart at the spot Top 30 spot.
Pantropiko's music video garnered 2.1 million views so far since its release last November 2023, still catching the attention of many netizens with their fun and bubbly dance moves.
Pantropiko brought ultimate summer vibes and a feel of sunbathing on the beach with your friends. The song reminisces the old days of just having summer season's fun.
“'Yung 'Pantropiko' po ni-release namin ng November. Actually worried po kami na baka wrong timing 'yung pag-release ng 'Pantropiko' kasi 'yung vibe po niya pang-summer po, tapos pa-Pasko po nung ni-release namin siya. Pero nagulat po kami na everyday may update po kasi sa Star Music GC po namin na tumataas nga po siya sa Viral Songs PH,” BINI’s leader, Jhoanna, stated.
The BINI leader once wished that the Pantropiko dance challenge would reach Twice, Red Velvet, and Niana Guerrero.
Their wish was fulfilled after it ended up in South Korea when Red Velvet member Irene joined in the dance challenge at a fan call event. BINI members were delighted over the cute video of Irene that got over 1.3 million views on X (formerly Twitter). Even, Niana Guerrero posted her dance in TikTok that BINI also gushed over it.
BINI members, Colet, Maloi, Mikha, Sheena, Stacey, Jhoanna, Gwen, and Aiah are thankful for their fans, showing unwavering love and support.
The BINI just recently released an extended play, "Talaarawan", and a single "Salamin-Salamin" on Friday, March 8. They revealed that they specifically chose March 8 for the song's release date since it's in line with the celebration of International Women's Day.
