The nation girl group, BINI, reached a new milestone as they hit 3 million monthly listeners on Spotify, becoming the first Filipino female group to do so.

Since three weeks ago, BINI's Spotify listener count had been steadily increasing, from 1.5 million monthly listeners at the end of March to around 3 million as of that Friday, April 19.

With a new peak of 86,824 added daily listeners on Spotify, BINI then had a total of 3 million monthly listeners, setting a new record for the most monthly listeners ever for a P-Pop group and surpassing SB19's previous record of 2.8 million.

Just recently, they became the daily most streamed OPM female and group artist on the said music streaming app, breaking the 834-day streak of Ben & Ben as the most streamed OPM group artist on Spotify Philippines and marking the first time ever that a female pop group in the country had accomplished such a record.

Their recent summer hit song “Pantropiko” continued to draw new listeners as it reached a new peak at #2 on the Spotify Philippine chart with a new daily high of 650.2K streams, for a total of an outstanding 23.7 million streams. Meanwhile, “Salamin-salamin” also entered the top 5 of the Spotify Philippines chart at #4 with 613.4K streams and had a total of more than 10 million streams.

With the continuous rise of streaming numbers, their followers on the said platform also steadily increased, from more than 100,000 followers in March to almost 300,00 followers in April, with the majority of its listeners coming from the cities of Quezon City, Manila, Caloocan, Cebu, and Davao.

The “nation’s girl group” also became the highest charting pop group on Spotify Philippines Daily Top Artists, rising to #34 on the list.
