Theme: Staying silent instead of vocalizing how one feels. 

I am a writer,

but I’m tired of writing it all out.

I want to tell you how I feel,

what’s with you that I love about.

 

I am a poet,

and I’d tell myself “You’re the one”.

Even though our introduction phase,

has only just begun.

 

I am an author,

but you’ll always be the story.

You are supposed to be a friend,

so catching feelings for you makes me sorry.

 

and I am a writer,

so I have to keep writing it all out.

I can’t tell you how I feel,

so I will keep it to myself, without a doubt.
