Live Nation Philippines announced the legendary K-Pop girl group 2NE1's reunion show, 'WELCOME BACK' Asia Tour, in Manila after their decade-long hiatus, resulting in instant wiped out of tickets for their two-day sold-out show to be held in SM Mall of Asia Arena on November 11 & 12, 2024.

The group first had their two-year hiatus in 2014 and formally announced their disbandment in 2016. After almost a decade, 2NE1 surprised their fans with their 15th anniversary reunion, the 'WELCOME BACK' tour, to have a total of 19 shows all over Asia.

Since the group disbanded last 2016, their full group comeback with a concert tour became anticipated by their loyal fans, 𝘣𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘫𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘴, whereas they proved their ticket-selling power and K-Pop legend status by selling out a three-day show on their first concert stop in Seoul, South Korea.

As revealed by Philippine Concerts, 2NE1 sets a new record of over 210,000 thousands of fans lining up online to get their hands on the tickets for their 'WELCOME BACK' tour in Manila, being the highest for a K-Pop act on the online ticketing platform SM Tickets during its first day of ticketing.

2NE1 had their last concert in Manila for their 'All or Nothing' Tour, which was held way back in 2014. Since then, their fans have looked forward to their comeback amidst the uncertainty due to their disbandment.

2NE1 is expected to perform their famous hits "Fire," "I Don't Care," "I Am The Best," and "Come Back Home" as part of their 2024 'WELCOME BACK' tour setlist.
