LITERARY: “The Allegory of the Cornfield: Who You Are and What You Should Be” by: Darein P. Catchillar

 The Allegory of the Cornfield: Who You Are and What You Should Be

by Darein P. Catchillar

Weet the importance of your existence.

There are no doubts or quiddits;

While some people right now are giving up their ghosts,

Others are giving their greatest foins in life.

This isn't a mishap—it's a series of rivalries!

No one likes to cling, but everyone dares to dream.

A crowd of heads—malkin for their desires;

I believe they tease the drip and kill the ravin crows.

In a wide cornfield,

People gathered to seek the golden mealie.

And in the state of their ruthlessness,

One was bitten by snakes—most were fed up with kernels into their death.

And then the rest of the survivors realized,

“Gold rush was just a myth;

The rise is the rose.

Poets can always write a perfect, clever prose.”

There is indeed a malison that cuts deep into our hearts;

Take your own path—believe in yourself.

Lank it inside your head,

You can never see yourself in gold

because you are a gleaming diamond—never refuse to believe it.
