"The Promise Never-Had Allegory"
by: Cristian Jade Tulisana
Names of fame hosted a party,
In which the rule was to choose wisely;
Existing officials with promises partly,
Extended their power to foreshadow uncertainty.
Shame left their soul fluttered,
Keen disguise was outed by a muckraker.
Obscured past covered a phony future,
Inside of our dreams—they were Krueger.
Blurry present scarce of realist knight,
Full of dreamers in the middle of the night.
Their quick intent extinguished their own fire,
Visions were endless without eagerness.
