LITERARY: "Teachers' Spirit Animal: Chimera" by Cristian Jade Tulisana

They are like penguins that hold their children with pure love and motherly touch.

The scenery of our danger and taking the pathway less traveled by are not on their watch.

Sometimes, the warmth we are looking for is from a stranger that is not of our own flesh.

They are our teachers who paint a smile on their own faces as they nourish and ensure our success.

Snakes symbolize revolutional transformation—they always want us to be in our best state.

They could be so strifeful, but most of the time, they're calm.

Without them, our minds would only be just a blank slate.

They defend us and tend to attack whenever we experience any form of harm.

They are the personifications of lions that hold integrity and a good sense of leadership.

They hunt for our wellness and provide us with needs we couldn't find in our houses.

The bond we create with our teachers forms a companionship that could become greater than a friendship.

They exert effort and give their all for us, even if it costs what is under their pouches.

They sit on their throne of vigilance and dignity as they are called our majesty;

Given a power hold to nurture our shells as our safe zones.

Myriad hatch under skillful wings—school nest to achieve the highest eminence.

Hens, the symbol of ideal maternal love, are nothing more than our self-sacrifice.

Epitome of a chameleon is what they are—they easily adapt to the chaotic environment.

They wield beautiful colors and that's what makes them different.

They tend to look smaller than any other creatures, but no one can beat them at their forte.

Teachers are the people who bring out our best and don't want us to go astray.

Chimeras are feared by many in ancient times, for being capable of everything.

They are referred to as the beasts, because they are great at everything and were jacks of all trades.

Nowhere to be found—crystalline spirits bridled with the teachers.

You should be proud of your inner beast and conquer the ignorance of the world.
