Theme: Empowering Femininity

Synopsis: They will often forget one’s capability when overlooked. From someone who has been through terrible events because of their gender, why don’t you remind them who you are exactly?

-

Who are you to dare look them in the eye with such fierceness?

No shriveled, low life shall even stand near to their level,

Kneel with your head bowed, at least three feet behind their backs,

That is your place;

Not eye to eye.

“Feeble little impudent soul”

In spite of what a fool will say,

Behind those profanities lies a cowardly being,

To mask the strength that is unmatched to what the world attempts to overlook—

Oh, so desperately.

Trapped in chambers; voices muffled from left and right,

A trampled blossom by the weight of barbaric acts of misogyny—

A canvas painted by the scars of untold stories,

No shame whatsoever as you stand bare as if to taunt them of what you are capable of.

Not even the number of derogatory can crumble your benevolences;

Heart of a thousand representations,

Roughened gem that continues to hold such value;

Now, who are they to dare look you in the eye,

To tremble at the closed distance—

Overthrown of to where they stand;

Can they not withstand the presence of a true prowess?

They shall recognize that stare of a fiery yet graceful being,

Engraved in their thick skulls for as long as you shall live;

You are no man.

Certainly not just someone from the rubbles.

You are a woman.
