Junior High School participants Lance Lugtu (10-Athena), Love Garcia (Grade 9-Poseidon), Samantha Velasquez (Grade 8-Hera), and Zuriel Ombao (Grade 7-Eros), make it to the top and become the champions in Science, Math, and Computer JHS Quiz Bee 2022 with the theme: "Integrated Approach in Science and Mathematics and Technology for Sustainable Future" at the Audio and Visual Room on Tuesday, October 4.

Lugtu, Garcia, Velasquez, and Ombao's team, who called themselves Group Halo-Halo, had managed to break ties on the Difficult Round, amassing 11 points in total against Group Star's Rochie Marie Bordaje, Cassie Tiu, Nic Matthew Cinco, and Jon Frederik Agrabio, who took 1st place, and Group Racha's Jermaine Tolentino, Annika Howie Quizana, Arianne Mae Vicente, and Ianmar Nathan Panopio as they earned 2nd place.

JHS candidates underwent four rounds of varying degrees of difficulty that extended from 7th to 10th grade topics and then challenged the minds of each team. This had caused most of the teams to fall short at the Easy Round, in which only five teams advanced to the Average Round; from there only Group Halo-Halo, Racha, and Star proceeded to the Difficult Round, a tough match that had brought them to the Tie-Breaker Round and decided the winners.

Competitors had previously held elimination rounds from their sections and had picked their best scorers to be their representative for SCIMACOM JHS Quiz Bee, this was also to prepare them for the questions that involved specifically Science, Math and Computer related questions.
