Theme: Apologeticness and appreciation.
I reminisce.
What you did
for me was bliss;
So splendid.
On sunsets, we stared
At the blue chairs
in auburn red, flared.
And gave no cares.
Felt safe
and laughter presided.
Escape—
only you provided.
And trust, we built;
But what was built
was to be crumbled.
And I harbored guilt.
Said something
out of turn;
And out of no care
for you.
To this day and the next,
I always regret;
always apologize.
And would not forget.
And what I want
is to say:
"I'm sorry."
Even today.
And it is,
because I
enjoyed each
And ev'ry high.
For you
were always
good to me.
