Theme: The Role of Older Sisters

She stands tall like pillars for the foundation.

Every time she is asked—

A stream of wisdom follows beyond imagination.

There’s something about her;

Being my sister in a form of a mother.

She gives comfort in sleepless nights—

From the constant voices in my mind:

Warmth surrounds her proximity.

Oh, how wonderful to call her family!

There is serenity in her eyes,

Every time you come to her when you sigh.

The first-born of families;

Always gives without expecting anything.

Happily serving the whole ancestry.

God had given a purpose—

Why every older sister is to be:

A great protector.

From the harms yonder—

And evil do-overs of the cosmos.

Given the burden,

She is reticent and fearless.

Selflessly without her even knowing,

Loved by everyone who receives her help.

May we never forget the women—

Who’ll sacrifice everything:

For unity and peace,

Rivers of harmony,

For the love or family.
