Subject: Admiration

I stood as the sunset fell upon the sky,
Dimmed, the surroundings were aiming for the night,
I looked up only to see images of you,
How ironic, I was again struck by the things you do.

As the clouds made its tiny moves,
Fair enough, I already knew whom to choose,
Chance— it was all that I seek,
For you are that someone whom I opt to keep.

Everything was beyond admiration,
Keeps the light as the day went for a transition,
The sky furnished me with that little sign,
Enchanting, how I wish for our stars to be aligned.

And now that the place was yearning dark,
Everything reminds me of your eyes and how it sparked,
The sky had sent me bolts of elixir,
Felt sweetly cursed but held no fear.

I may not be bound to love for it is ill,
But as I fell for the magnificence, for you I will,
This day might end as the night started,
Sky, my love will definitely be unrequited.
