The Department of Health (DOH) announces the lowest COVID-19 transmission in over 2 months. With over 2,720,368 confirmed cases, DOH presents the number of new cases to 6,913 in the Philippines.

According to DOH, this is the lowest one-day tally in over two months since last August, when there has been a total of 6, 879 COVID-19 new cases.
81,641 or 3% of the population are active cases.
DOH also lists 10,237 recoveries and 95 new deaths. The Philippines' confirmed cases is now
2,598,052 with 40,675 deaths since the pandemic has started.
