NEWS: "LOA Inc. holds first online squish game" by Allen Paolo M. Mirondo

The last event for today's Foundation celebration opening, the school's first ever online Squish Game, is held via a Zoom meeting. It is inspired by the Netflix Korean series, "Squid Game" and is hosted by JHS teacher Mr. Kent Moreno.

The event consists of 5 different rounds of varying challenges that the participants need to accomplish in order to stay in the game.

The first round is imitating the emojis and in the 9th round, 1 player has been eliminated, which leads to 17 standing competitors.

The next round is called, "Katolgona" wherein a pair of 'katol' should be separated without breaking either of the two pieces. 4 players have been eliminated and only 13 players remain.

The third game is called, "Guess the Movie Title" and 4th round is called, "Bring it on".

8 players have been eliminated in both rounds which leads to our top 5 in the game.

The last round decides the winner of the activity, which is called "Pictograph", a game similar to 4 pics 1 word. Two participants have been eliminated from this round which leads to Caballero from ICT, Sotomayor from Home Economics and Tibay from HUMSS standing strong.

The three compete for the top place. Tibay answers the question faster than the rest and is crowned as the first Online Squish Game champion.

Sotomayor comes in as second while Caballero comes in as third.

The event ends with a big smile and a great photo opportunity.
