The Department of Health (DOH) announced the current total of 14,786 COVID-19 cases on October 2, 2021. Presents an increasing the amount of active cases to 144,061 in the Philippines.
According to DOH, the active cases comprise 5.6 percent of the 2,580,173 total verified COVID-19 cases.
DOH also reported 894 recoveries and 164 deaths. The country now has 2,397,456 recoveries or 92.9 percent of the results and 38,656 deaths or 1.50 percent of all confirmed cases since the pandemic started.
On the positivity rate, 22.1 percent of 68,233 individuals who took an examination, among of them have discovered positive for the coronavirus Yesterday.
