LITERARY: "Christmas without you" by Juzmine Rein Iguid

Category: Poetry

Theme: Sad, Christmas

Sypnosis: A sad woman spends her first Christmas without the love of her life. She is left with no choice but to accept and embrace the sorrows that it brings.

-

At last, its almost christmas.

Gifts and lights are everywhere

Smile and love surrounds

But you, you are nowhere to be found.

This christmas may seem a little different,

Maybe because you weren't here to lit up the flame,

As I see your smile on our little frame,

All I can think is that this work is so lame.

Only God knows how much I miss you,

And it hurts celebrating this christmas without you no wonder.

You said distance makes love go fonder,

But I guess not with us.
